Benito, the son of popular Nigerian rapper, JJC Skillz, has reacted after his father announced his separation from Nollywood star, Funke Akindele.
The TV producer on Thursday morning, June 30, announced that his marriage to Funke Akindele has ended, disclosing that they have been having issues in their home for the last two years.
According to him, he moved out of their home three months ago, on Funke Akindele’s insistence.
“I need to let you know that Funke and I have separated. While it lasted we shared a lot of things together and have created 2 beautiful children. The last two years have been extremely difficult for us. I know I have tried my best to fix things but I believe it is beyond repair now. 3 months ago and at Funkes insistence I moved out of the house”. He wrote in part.
Recall that Benito had in several posts before now disclosed that his father’s marriage to the actress was in turmoil—during an Instagram live session in May, Benito revealed the couple no longer lived together, which now corroborates JJC’s claim that he moved out of his home three months ago.
Well, after his father’s announcement this morning, Benito took to his Instagram page to remind those that might have doubted his claim in the past, that he had, in fact, been telling the truth.
“I spoke the truth men”, he wrote.
