Nigerian rapper, JJC Skillz, has spoken on why he celebrated his estranged wife, Funke Akindele, on her 45th birthday a few days ago.
The actress cum politician clocked 45 on Wednesday, August 24, and JJC took to his social media pages to pen a heartfelt birthday message to her.
He prayed for her and the children they both share, that they would embody the goodness of God and be a blessing to generations.
“Happy birthday my darling mama ibeji @funkejenifaakindele I pray our children embody the goodness of God and be a blessing to generations. Today is your day, celebrate and live to the fullest. Long life and prosperity,” he wrote. Read here.
Well, speaking in a recent interview with TVC, JJC Skillz explained the reason behind his gesture towards his ex-wife.
According to him, they had almost seven years of a lovely relationship together so he wished her well.
“A lot of people are quite shocked to find out that I am human. To be honest, growing up in England and with my experience of having different baby mamas, the most important thing is the children. Just focus on the children and let all the drama go and most importantly, have the attitude of gratitude. We had almost seven good years of lovely relationship. So Happy birthday to her and I wish her luck”. He said.
