A Nigerian man got quite emotional in court as he narrated how his girlfriend, whom he catered for, left him for another man.
The young man, while speaking before a justice court, recalled how he often sent his woman money without her asking, but her attitude changed completely when he couldn’t afford to anymore.
He said he went broke and couldn’t continue to cater to her financial needs. However, going by the popular saying, “one good turn deserves another,” he assumed she would be there for him in his trying times, but she completely changed and quickly moved on with another man.
He claimed that at one point during their relationship, he loaned her money and didn’t bother her about paying it back, but as his financial situation deteriorated, he begged her to assist him and she refused.
The heartbroken man sobbed as he described how, after lavishing his girlfriend with money when he was buoyant, she quickly moved on to another man once he stopped providing financial support.
He said as a result of his current financial situation, he’s unable to pay his rent, so he asked his woman for the money he loaned her, but it appears she’s unwilling to pay back, so he dragged her to court.
The judge, in her ruling, asked the lady to repay the money, a total sum of N170,000 in instalments, paying N20,000 monthly.
