Popular Nollywood actress, Olaide Oyedeji, has lashed out at those criticising her for leaving her marriage.
The thespian, whose marriage to her husband, Olukotan, recently hit the rocks, revealed she has received heavy criticism from trolls on social media since they parted ways.
Oyedeji, who is clearly tired of the backlash, took to her Instagram page to warn her detractors.
According to her, her DM is filled with people, especially women, hurling insults at her for dumping her husband.
She emphasized that she wouldn’t have left her marriage if everything was good and reiterated that she wouldn’t be going back to him.
“Please u am just going to drop this thing one time. You people should tread carefully. Am begging you, we shouldn’t be insulting ourselves this 2023. It’s too early to insult ourselves.
I don’t know when in Nigeria a relationship would turn into a do-or-die affair and you all will be dropping comment in my post. Because I am saying I am not doing anymore, you even have the effrontery to slid into my DMs to insult me. The man you are fighting for, go and marry him. If you are in your right senses, you wouldn’t think that something that is good, you don’t leave it”. She said.
