Reports circulating online reveal that the Ooni of Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, is set to usher in his second wife, identified as Queen Opeoluwa Elizabeth Akinmuda, into the palace.
Although no photographs of the wedding have been shared on social media, it is believed that the pair got married some time ago.
A reputable source from the palace, who spoke to City People TV, disclosed that invitation letters were sent to family and friends of the royal family for a Thanksgiving service scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 20th, 2023.
Prior to the Thanksgiving service, the new Queen will be traditionally ushered into the ancient Ife Oodua Palace in Ile-Ife, Osun state, on Thursday.
However, as of the time of filing this report, the revered Osun monarch has not released an official statement about the marriage on his verified social media pages.

The wives of the revered Yoruba monarch were recently guests at a Coffee Book event titled “Ile-Ife: The Cradle of the World”.
A video of them at the event, which was held in Lagos, surfaced online and their demeanor has got netizens talking.
In the clip posted online by City People TV, the Ooni’s fourth and fifth wives, Olori Ashley and Olori Ronke, were seen sitting together when his first wife, Olori Mariam, walked up to them.
Olori Mariam exchanged pleasantries with Olori Ashley, while Olori Ronke appeared to ignore her. Her action, which didn’t go unnoticed, has sparked reactions from Nigerians on social media. Watch here
