A lady has called out recent trends where TikTok users take to social media to call out their parents over their financial status.
She reminds them that nobody ever decides to be poor; their parents never woke up and decided that they no longer wanted to be wealthy– life had other plans. Some parents were well-to-do until a b@d financial decision; some started from scratch and are probably still struggl!ng today; and some fathers worked the hardest, but life didn’t favor them with much resources.
Yet you, as their child, come online to shade them- why? “Maybe because you’re dating one Yahoo boy, that is making life easier for you, you start looking at your father less. It’s not fair”, she added.
Her criticism further escalates as she blames the culprit’s behavior on moments when they probably heard their mothers qu@rreling with their father and telling him that she had richer suitors, but she chose him – which she regrets. Adding that sometimes some mothers actually l!e, and their husbands were the best options they had then.
Her video was a reaction to a girl who went viral for calling out her mother for marrying her father who was not doing better than her parents. She critiqued that the same lady would still go home and eat the food that her father provided. And now that she has called him “less” it would be a thing of m0ckery for her amidst her friends. “Lets us be helping ourselves. The country is not helping us. Parents are going through a lot, then you will come online to drag them, she appealed.
