Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti has been released on bail from the custody of the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Lagos on Tuesday night.
Recall that Seun was detained by the police for allegedly assaulting a police officer some days ago on Third Mainland Bridge, Lagos.
Kuti’s lawyers in a statement had earlier said that he would be released on bail as ordered by the Magistrate.
The development was confirmed by his attorney, Adeyinka Olumide-Fusika, SAN, in a telephone interview with The Punch.
“Yes, Ṣeun Kuti was released minutes ago,” he said.
A video of the singer outside the center was also shared online with fans and friend jubilating his release.

Solomon, who recently married his wife and frequently shares her photos on his social media page with captivating captions, again, posted a series of photos of his wife on Twitter.
