Popular Nigerian clergyman, Apostle Johnson Suleman, has stated that he can not regard Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the lead president of LoveWorld Incorporated and Christ Embassy, as his friend.
He made this statement while preaching to his congregation on the second day of the Holy Ghost Conference, which was broadcasted live on the church’s YouTube Channel.
He said he cannot consider Pastor Chris a friend because he has great respect for him and believes he operates on a higher level in terms of influence and congregational size.
Citing an example, Apostle Suleman reported that more than 103 million people registered for a program in Pastor Chris’ church, and by the end of the meeting, more than 110 million people had registered.
He questioned how Pastor Chris was able to pull that kind of large crowd, and stated that he was operating on a higher level of grace than he is. He added that he can’t equate himself with such a man by lowering him to the level of a friend.
“Then I will now stand beside such a man and say, he is my friend? Never! Pastor Chris can’t be my friend. When you want to grow, stop equating yourself with those who have grown. I am not in his class. He is on a different world. Are you trying to say that God can’t use little things to correct him? God knows who He sends little things to for correction”, he wrote.
