Popular Nigerian clergyman, David Ibiyeomie, has disclosed that he had previously given a million dollars to the church as an offering while living without a house.
Pastor David Ibiyeomie empathized that he had no home or land to his name at the time he made the significant financial donation to the church.
He mentioned that when he made the donation, only the accountant was aware of the amount he gave. No one else in the church, including his spouse, knew about the contribution until he shared his testimony.
The pastor said that his unconditional contribution to God had opened doors for him, making him one of the richest pastors on earth.
He continued by saying that unless one establishes one’s worth to God, success doesn’t happen by chance.
“When I gave one million dollars as offering, I had no house. I gave it on a Sunday, my wife was not even aware until she heard my testimony. It was only the Church accountant that knew as a privilege of his office when he saw he volume of money that came in,” he said in part.
