“I found out my marriage had ended on YouTube” – Stella Damasus opens up on divorce (video)

Veteran Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus has opened up for the first time about the end of her marriage with her husband, Daniel Ademinokan.

You will recall that Stella Damasus and Daniel Ademinokan were once married, but their marriage ended in 2020.

Rumors circulated that Ademinokan had left the couple’s native state in the United States of America and ended their marriage. The union ended because of irreconcilable issues, according to both sides.

In an interview with Teju Babyface Oyelakin, the actress discussed how her marriage ended and said that she first learned about it on YouTube. She said that up until she started getting calls from friends urging her to visit YouTube, she was unaware that her spouse had left her.

She claims that her spouse contacted her to break the news of their divorce after she saw several web videos about her failed marriage.

In her words;

“The man in question travelled and was supposed to be away for a while and he was to come back and a few days after the man travelled, my phone was buzzing, I received messages from people asking what is going on? Are you okay? Why didn’t you tell me there was something happening? I am like what are all these links they are sending to me? As I started typing my name and before I was done, videos start coming up ‘Stella’s third marriage crashes’, ‘Karma is a b!tch’’

And I called and we had a conversation and at that time I still didn’t know that anything had happened until I got the final call to say ‘No I am not coming back.’”
