Popular Afrobeats superstar, Ayo Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has sparked genuine concern among his fans with his recent decision to get multiple tattoos.
The ‘Essence’ crooner, who recently lost his mother to the cold hands of death and returned to Nigeria for her funeral, inked a new tattoo on his neck following her burial.
While his fans and followers were still recovering from the first tattoo, which reportedly cost a whopping 10,000 US dollars, Wizkid has gotten yet another tattoo.
A video making rounds on social media shows the moment the ‘Made in Lagos’ star was getting the new tattoo inked on his leg at a tattoo studio.
Wizkid’s choice to get two tattoos in quick succession has sparked mixed reactions online, with many questioning the state of his mental health and wondering if that’s his way of grieving his late mother.

The way he keeps getting new tattoos reminds me of a video where Olamide said when he lost his parents, he’s doing alot of weird things & people thought it’s a norm but deep down he wasn’t okay he was still grieving.”

“The thing is he was already doing this before him mom pass away. But low Key that thought entered in my mind. Me too just Lost my father. I’m feeling empty n irritated at same time. On ppl face , i laugh Always but …. It’s awful inside.
I hope he will be surrounded n talk with his ppl abt it. Unfortunately, he seems introvert to talk abt feelings.”
