Popular reality TV star and actress, Venita has revealed the reasons behind the breakup of her relationship with co-star Adekunle Olopade after the show ended.
The 37-year-old actress claimed that, due to her age, she has more life experience than the former banker and that their paths are not the same.
In an interview with Tacha on Cool FM’s The Big Friday Show, Venita made this statement and cleared the air on her relationship with the 29-year-old event anchor.
In the same interview, the stunning mother of two reaffirmed that she and Adekunle Olopade are not romantically involved.
Though they had intended to take their love out of the house, their plans have now changed.
According to Venita, the reason they broke up was partly due to the fact that Adekunle is following a different route than she is, and that she is older than him.
She further underlined that while Adekunle is walking gracefully in his lane, she has more life experience and understands where she wants to go.
In her words,
“Adekunle is fine. But he is definitely walking his own path because our journeys are completely different. I am significantly older, so I have more experience in life.
So I know a bit more about the direction I want to go in. Also, this is my field of work. His field of work would probably dabble into this one and cross others. But I am fine. He is cool and walking gracefully in his lane. We are not dating, and that’s how it is.”
