A Nigerian man has advised lovers in romantic relationship to break up with their partner if they don’t receive any gifts on Valentine’s Day.
Sharing on Twitter (X), the man identified as @hamiltonawah explained such event especially Valentine which is lovers day should be planned ahead of time. It should be celebrated with gifts between lovers just like birthdays or Christmas.
He noted that for him being in a romantic relationship and not receiving any presents from his partner on Valentine’s Day is valid reason to end the relationship.
Partners in romantic relationship should have planned and prepared ahead of their lovers day.
In his tweet, he wrote;
“I dunno how to explain this but being in a relationship and not receiving anything from your partner on Valentine’s Day is enough grounds for breakup. Events should be planned 2months ahead of time.”
In response to a comment, the Nigerian man revealed he will judge a relationship based on Valentine’s Day because it is an event for lovers.
