A woman on X, formerly Twitter, recounted a frightening experience after her ceiling fan fell directly on her son while he was sleeping on the floor in her bedroom.
According to the woman, her son left his room and came to sleep in hers around midnight, but she didn’t know he had settled on the floor.
She said she was asleep when a loud noise suddenly woke her, only to discover that the ceiling fan, which had been working, had fallen directly on her son.
Recounting the incident, the mother exclaimed, “I just hear gbum!!” as she expressed amazement that her son escaped without sustaining any injuries.
She revealed that the boy’s shout woke her up, but, surprisingly, he fell back asleep almost immediately afterward.
The woman described the experience as shocking and expressed gratitude that her son was unharmed despite the frightening accident.
She also marvelled at how he escaped injury, given that the fan had fallen directly on him while he was sleeping.
The incident has gained online attention, with many sympathizing with the woman and grateful that her son was unharmed. Some advised she take her son for an X-ray at a hospital, while others shared their preference for a standing fan over a ceiling fan.
