A woman has returned to seek reconciliation after realizing that her man’s positive H!V result was a mistake.
The couple had went in for a H!V and genotype test ahead of their wedding. Their genotypes both turned out AA, but the husband tested positive for H!V. There wasn’t much panic as they had stayed away from sexual intercourse in their courtship. And though they were told in counselling that they could go ahead and get married because the wife and their baby can avoid contacting the v!rus, the woman could not take the risk, so she called the wedding off and ended the relationship.

Weeks later, while still nursing this traumatic experience, the hospital called to inform the man that the result he was issued wasn’t his. They apologized for the mix up and told him some medical jargons. He then went to two different hospitals to confirm his status and the results returned negative. Abreast of the current situation, the woman returned and has been asking to be forgiven – pleading that they kick off with the wedding from where they had left off.

The story has stirred reactions from some X-users:
@AdesolaSo The f@lse result may have been a mistake, but her reaction revealed her capacity under pressure. Forgiveness is possible, but trust once br0ken takes honesty, maturity, and time to rebuild. He shouldn’t rush the wedding just.
