A Nigerian mum was forced to spend her Owanbe celebration in the car because her baby doesn’t like the loud party noise.

In the overlay text, she explained that she attended the party with her little child, who apparently couldn’t stand loud music and the bustling atmosphere typical of Nigerian celebrations.

Instead of enjoying the event with other guests, the mum remained in the parked car throughout the ceremony to keep her baby calm and comfortable. The clip showed her seated with the baby, who appeared relaxed and content away from the noise.

She wrote: “POV: You went to Owanbe with your baby that doesn’t like noise, and ended up staying in the car till party end.”

While some shared similar experiences, others offered her a solution for another time so she wouldn’t miss an Owambe as a mum.
