A lady has recounted a traumatic experience after revealing that a nurse once administered an expired drug to her, leaving one of her legs disfigured.

In a post shared on X, the lady, identified as Ozioma Chioke, said the incident left her traumatized, recalling how the nurse’s use of the expired medication affected her leg.
She made the revelation in response to a post by another user who questioned why people feared injections despite their effectiveness.

Reacting to the post, Ozioma explained that her fear and concerns surrounding injections stemmed from her personal experience with the medical professional.
She wrote, “I was genuinely traumatised. A nurse once used an expired drug on me, and it left one of my legs disfigured.”
Her experience has drawn attention, with many questioning whether the injection affected her walking posture to date.
“Are you being serious about about, what you meant disfigured, is it by the skin look surrounding the spot or affect the leg?”
She responded with a tweet saying, “I didn’t walk properly for months, omo it’s a long story”
Ozioma confirmed that she couldn’t walk for months following the nurse’s unethical actions.
The incident also highlights the potential consequences of medication errors, as some online users questioned whether the nurse was sued for her actions.
