A lady has taken to social media to share how her friend gifted her on her wedding, the same gift that she had given the friend on her own wedding.
According to the lady, when her university close friend got married three years ago, she had to save up money for months to buy a high-end dual-door LG refrigerator that cost 400, 000 naira. She paid for the logistics and delivered it as a wedding gift to her friend’s new home.
Fast forward to 2026, the lady gets married and receives numerous gifts from friends and family. While unboxing the gifts, the lady noticed a familiar box wrapped in an old wrapping paper. To her surprise, she realized that it was the same gift she had gifted that friend of hers. The friend had not opened the box since 2023; the custom card she had tucked into the manual was still intact. The situation has left her with concerning questions: “How do you address a friend who re-gifts your 400k sacrifice back to you like a garbage?”, she asked.
