A young lady who was married to a “cheap” man reveals why it was a deal-breaker for her.
In a brief video that she posted online, the lady shared that she used to be married to a man who was so cheap. It wasn’t that he had no money; as a matter of fact, he was rich with houses and investments. But the issue was that he was a miser when it came to dispensing money; to mention a ₦100,000 to his hearing is almost like taking his life.
This habit of his, she added, wasn’t only towards her; he did the same thing to his siblings. He would never give them money without taking something in return. When she discovered this about him, she first thought it was a joke, until it came to their wedding plan. He was prudent with everything and had mentioned that they shouldn’t even have a wedding ceremony since he had already paid her bride price. She expressed her disgust for such a character as she admonished women to avoid men like him.
In reaction to her video, some women who could relate to her story congratulated her for dodging a bullet, while the men critiqued her for calling the man cheap.
