A woman has come out to share an experience that convinced her that Nigerian men love poor women.
“Nigerian men love poor, struggl!ng women.” Her reason for this statement is that she has noticed that whenever she drives out in her car, men don’t approach her to ask for her number. But on days when she treks or uses public transport, they would flood around trying to woo her. Adding that even if a man collects her number when she drives, and later realizes that the car was hers, he would not take her seriously. But once a man realizes that she has no property to her name, the relationship would get serious.
This has made her realize that they prefer p00rer women, yet they would be the first to critique and call a woman who has nothing going on for herself a liability. And at the same time, feel int!midated when they see a successful woman. She concluded that Nigerian men want women who are p00r so they would be able to oppress them.
“points of correction, we love women that are doing well for themselves just that so many guys are avoiding themselves because they don’t know if you are already married”, a man responded.
