Benny

Benny Umoren was shocked when she returned home from work yesterday and met cows eating up the vegetables in her farm while the Fulani herdsboys in charge of the cows watched.

According to her, she couldn’t do anything because she didn’t want to offend the boys as their cows destroyed her farm to avoid attacks. She wrote:

Please anywhere you are friends just observe a minute silence for my farm. Yes please do it, it means a lot to me.
I can’t control the tears. My pepper and vegetables farm just disappeared because we are in Hausa/Fulani Republic.
Please a minute silence for my farm. I can’t remember the last time I bought pepper, ugwu and other vegetables. The farm I irrigates in this dry season to keep it booming only to come back today and saw cows in my farm enjoying themselves while the herdsboys watch them.
Herdsboy not herdsmen because they are below 10years.
Should I talk? No! It’s dangerous to shout else my neighborhood will be in danger of attack. Let me kuku allow them enjoy the farm. Let’s stay alive and farm next time. Thank God am even the one returning now, others would have shouted and endangered us.
I couldn’t even bring out my phone to snap. Ha! Snap? What if the herdsboys feel offended that I snapped them and go to tell the herdsmen? Ha! Benny, there’s a time to snap and a time to watch. Definitely, this is a time to watch and force a smile so you won’t offend herdsboys.???????
