Reality TV stars, Nengi Rebecca Hampson and Ozoemena Joseph Chukwu, have gotten people talking online over the way they treated each other during a recent event in Ghana.
It would be recalled that the duo became friends during the Big Brother Naija lockdown edition in 2020. Ozo was head over heels in love with Nengi but she never reciprocated his feelings till he was evicted from the show.
Shippers of the duo thought they would rekindle their friendship, and possibly blossom into lovers after the show, but they apparently never did as shown by a new video.
Nengi and Ozo were both special guests alongside their junior colleagues, Whitemoney and Angel Smith, at an event hosted by a brand they represent in Accra, Ghana, recently.
A video from the event showed Whitemoney sitting in between the duo as media personality, Warri Pikin, entertained the guests. Nengi was also filmed leaving the event while Ozo left the venue moments later.
From the short clip, netizens couldn’t help but notice their apathy towards each other and expressed displeasure in them for not sitting side by side despite being old-time friends.
Some fans even claimed the pair barely made eye contact or spoke to each other during the event, while some opined that Ozo seemed uncomfortable because Nengi was also at the event.
The video has left many of their fans heartbroken as they bemoaned how easy it is for lovers to become strangers when things go south.
