Veteran Nollywood actor Richard Mofe Damijo, better known as RMD, has finally addressed the viral video that captured him embarrassing an overzealous fan.

RMD received criticism a few hours ago for how he handled an overly enthusiastic admirer.

The veteran was seen shunning a fan who wanted to snap a picture with the actor in a video that went viral online.

RMD wasn’t happy with the young man’s attempt to hype and praise him while telling people how he met the veteran and instructed him to snap pictures and stop blabbing.

The veteran, who appeared unconcerned by the harsh accusations he has been receiving, reshared the video on his Instagram page and commented that it is a fantastic sound for TikTok videos.

“Well here’s another sound for your TikTok videos,” he commented.

In other news, Nigerian songstress Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, has expressed her displeasure with the Headies Award organizers for their failure to announce the award category she won onstage.

The 21-year-old singer, renowned for hits like ‘Rush’ and ‘Sability,’ had been nominated alongside other A-list singers such as Tems, Simi, and Tiwa Savage in the Best Female Artiste category, and she emerged as the winner.

However, during the awards ceremony held in Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday, September 3, the Best Female Artiste category was omitted from the onstage announcements, and Ayra Starr was not presented with her award at the event.

Infuriated by this oversight, Ayra took to Twitter to criticize the organizers for their failure to acknowledge her and her fellow female artistes who invest significant effort into their craft.

She also expressed her lack of appreciation for winning the award due to their lackadaisical attitude towards her.
