Popular Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola-Salako, has reacted to the allegation that she snatched her husband, Kayode Salako, from his ex-wife and allegedly took over her school.
In reaction to Foluke’s post, where she lashed out at Nigerian youths who disrespect elderly people online, a Twitter user claimed to have witnessed the incident, which also made news years ago.
The Twitter user, who claimed to be a student at the school at the time, alleged that Foluke came into the school as acting coach and ended up snatching the proprietress’ husband and taking control of the school.
“I’m not judging o. can’t take her serious. cos everytime I see dis woman I’m reminded of how she came into my sec school as acting coach & ended up snatching d school owner’s husband. Both of them took d school from d Proprietress who had inherited it from her mum. 🙊.” The Twitter user wrote.
Reacting to the allegations in a video she shared online, Foluke clarified that she is not an academic and never met her husband at the school.
According to her, they met on “neutral” ground, and the school in question was started by her husband’s relative and not owned by her husband’s ex-wife, who left their marriage.
Foluke, who averred that she is the only legal wife of her husband, admitted that he’s a polygamist who has kids with different women.
She, however, noted that she does not believe in the idea of a man being “snatched” because he’s not an item.
Speaking further, she narrated how she and her husband were separated for over a year before coming back to make their marriage work.
