Popular Nollywood actress, Ini Edo has taken to social media to share a lovely photo of herself and her 2-year-old daughter, Light.
Ini, who has chosen to keep her daughter’s face private, posted the rare picture as she honored fathers on Father’s Day on Sunday, June 18th.
The 41-year-old thespian posted the photo with the caption, “Happy Fathers day from ME AND MINE”.
Ini welcomed her daughter via surrogacy in March 2021. She once granted an interview where she said she opted for a sperm donor for her peace of mind.
According to her, she doesn’t want to be enmeshed in the drama parents have whenever they fall out.

A while back, Ini said that she wants her child to live a private life.
She made this disclosure in a recent interview when she was asked if she would be flaunting her baby on social media like her other colleagues.
In response, the mother of one hinted that she won’t be unveiling her child’s face anytime soon because she wants to keep everything about her private for now.
“I really hope to keep my baby off social media, and this was why I’ve been reluctant to put her out there. I would love to keep everything about her private for now. There are a lot of celebrities whose children are not growing up on social media pages and living normal lives. That is how I want it to be for my daughter… it is a choice to put her out there or not and I choose to keep her private.” She said.
