Nollywood actress, Foluke Daramola-Salako, has reacted after media personality Yeni Kuti accused her of being disrespectful to her many years ago.
Yeni made this accusation on TVC’s Your View on Wednesday March 29, after Foluke lambasted the youths of this generation for being disrespectful to their elders.
In an Instagram video, Foluke had berated Nigerian youths for insulting their elders on social media, especially when they disagree with them on an issue.
Yeni, in an apparent reaction to the actress, recounted how she (Foluke) was rude to her several years ago while they were working on a project together, and stated that she has no right to demand respect from the youths when she is no different.
In a new development, Foluke has denied the allegation, stating that she can’t remember insulting the 61-year-old dancer.
She said it is not in her character to disrespect her age mates let alone an older person. She also shared a Yoruba adage that implies that she may have forgotten the incident because she was not the one on the receiving end.
However, she maintained that she doesn’t think there was ever a time when she was rude to Yeni.
