Big Brother Naija level-up housemate, Chinenyenwa Desire Okoebor, better known as Chichi, has opened up to fellow housemate, Deji, about her traumatic childhood experience.
The exotic dancer, in a recent chat with Deji, disclosed that her father was poisoned to death and her mother abandoned her as a child.
According to Chichi, she never experienced motherly love as she was abandoned by her mother as a baby and was raised by her father until his untimely death.
Narrating the event to Deji, Chichi said she doesn’t like to talk about that part of her life as it makes her quite emotional.
However, giving further details into Chichi’s life in an Instagram post following the revelation, her handler wrote,
“A story she always struggles to share cause it opens up old wounds that never fully heals. She doesn’t talk about this part of her life, but this girl right before you is an orphan and an only child, she never got the chance to know what it feels to have a mom. She was abandoned by her mom and she grew up with her dad, only to lose him at a tender age.
“She had to fend for herself, to fight. She wanted more from life, and she knew she had to work for it all by herself. People wonder where her competitive side came from, people wonder why she’s been so defensive, she has never had anyone to do that for her. Now having you all by her side, rooting for her, defending her, and loving her is the biggest blessing in her life ❤️”.
