Big Brother Naija season 7 housemate, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor better known as Phyna, has been heavily criticized on social media for insinuating that Hermes is “ugly”.
Some of the level 2 housemates were having a chat in the garden this afternoon when Bryann pointed out that Hermes would be a great model because he has the looks, physique, and posture.
In response, one of the housemates said Hermes, who is actually a dancer and video vixen in reality, might actually be a model but it’s hard to tell.
Amid the conversation, Phyna interjected and said Hermes would be like one of those ‘ugly’ models on the runway.
She explained that there are some models who look ugly and scary, and Hermes would be like them.
Reacting to Phyna’s statement, Bryann excluded himself from the narrative that Hermes is ugly, and stated that the Delta-born housemate is multi-talented and good at many things.

This has sparked outrage in the outside world as viewers of the show take to Twitter and Instagram to lampoon Phyna for talking loosely and shaming her fellow housemate with his looks.
It’s worthy to note that the Edo-born hype girl has previously commented on Hermes’s look when she said and I quote, “Hermes be like shrine, e be like wetin them dey use do sacrifice give g0ds.”
