Big Brother Naija star, Chinenyenwa Desire Okoebor, popularly known as Chichi, has reportedly filed a N100 million lawsuit against her co-star, Phyna Otabor.
According to reports, Chichi is seeking 100 million Naira in damages for Phyna’s defamatory statement against her.
This comes after Phyna, who won the “Level Up” season of the reality show in which Chichi was also a housemate, made several damaging allegations against Chichi during their recently concluded reunion show.
Phyna alleged on the show that Chichi is a married mother of two who abandoned her children in Benin, which allegedly led to the death of one of them.
Not stopping there, Phyna took to social media after the show aired and claimed that Chichi paid N3.5 million for liposuction and allegedly poisoned her friend in Cyprus due to jealousy before returning to Nigeria.
In response, Chichi, through her lawyer, described Phyna’s allegations as untrue, slanderous, and malicious in a lawsuit seen online.
The two-page lawsuit states that Phyna’s allegations have resulted in Chichi losing several endorsement deals and have tarnished her image.
In light of this, Chichi has demanded a public apology from Phyna, a compensation of one hundred million Naira, and that Phyna refrains from making further libelous statements about her.
