Former Big Brother Naija season 7 housemate, Khalid, has received backlash from fans after suggesting that female housemate Phyna will most likely win this season.
Following his eviction from the Big Brother house, Khalid, in an interview with Naija FM, praised female housemate Phyna’s intelligence and predicted that either she or Hermes would emerge as the winner of the seventh edition of the show.
He noted that in addition to being extremely energetic, Phyna was also incredibly brilliant, and he once observed her solving a complex mathematical sum while he was in the house.
“Phyna dey very intelligent, she dey very very intelligent and she they always dey active for any presentation, the winner is between Phyna or Hermes but I mostly feel Phyna”. He said.
Khalid’s statement didn’t seem to sit well with some fans of the reality show, who berated him for supporting Phyna while his girlfriend, Daniella, is still on the show.
Reacting, a fan of the reality show, @prettyb366 wrote,
“Very Irritating, if am Daniella, after watching this, we are done. At Least he should have wished her well too. It’s not by shouting or what Do ever, the girl is super intelligent n competitive but i guess people like what they like. Daniella is the only female coming close”.
