A young lady has taken to social media to cry out following her experience with her father.
In the video, she te@rfully called out people who critiqued her for calling her family tox!c. She said they should “shut the fvck up” because they can only speak from their own experiences; just because they had good fathers doesn’t mean that every other person had the same.
While emphasizing how nobody talks about the trauma that comes with coming from a tox!c home, she goes ahead to share some of the unpleasant experiences she has had with her father: How she got beaten up by him because he complained that he had called her and she didn’t show up, and how he thr3atened to send her out of the house. According to her, despite the fact that she was working on her own, her father still insists on coming after her life. This she concluded is one of the reasons why some girls go into hookup.
An X user complained about how the Gen Z always come online at the slightest situation of mental health. He said this is not what the Nigerian culture was, especially with those born in the 90s. Some critiqued the possibility of her becoming a good wife, based on the fact that she talked down on her father. And some said a “tox!c family” is no defense to go into an indecent act as hookup:
