Austa debunks

The brother of the Nigerian influencer who was brutally murdered by her boyfriend, Killaboi, has debunked viral claims that the accused bought them a house.

Recall that Austa, who boasted over hundred thousand followers, was stabbed to death by her boyfriend in Lagos recently over alleged betrayal and infidelity.

Killaboi, who was once arrested by EFFC in connection with fraud, caused a significant uproar on social media when he publicly confessed to killing her.

At the time, online reports suggested that he was the one financing her lifestyle and even bought a house for her and her mother. It was claimed that her father rejected the property, but she and her mother accepted the house.

However, Austa’s brother has now come out to refute the viral reports making rounds on social media. He clarified that they lost their father when Austa was only six months, rendering claims that he rejected a house gift false.

He also revealed that they were residing in a rented apartment in Maryland, Lagos, where they collectively contributed money each month to cover the rent. This contradicts the assertions suggesting that they were living in a house purchased by her boyfriend.

He wrote in part,

“Life has been hard for me. I always never understood why fate was so cruel to me. Everything I love, burns. Its my lot, the cards Life dealt me, but I’m still in this Casino, I love the thrill of the game. I love you guys too, my in was always comedy, and it made it worthwhile. I have unfortunately been discovered on twitter, if you don’t hear from me, I’ll be fine, if you do, I’d love to use the day to clear all the false news about my sister, my precious, my beloved. Bon Nuit. I remember when she told me she had saved half of the money she had to by a car. I slept on the blockchain for weeks to complete that money and made sure she drove a Benz. I was hungry in school, but I sent her every last penny I had. I still can’t drive but I did that, I don’t own a vehicle. She was the love of my life, I’d have done anything she wanted. I loved her with all my heart in my own way. Sad to see what all these people are saying, but I guess all is fair, it’s the nature of this world. also quite ridiculous that the internet somehow managed to arrive at that “he bought her family a house” narrative. My mum, my sister and I still make monthly contributions amongst ourselves to afford our rented apartment in Maryland. Blood, Sweat, Hardwork and Tears, it’s all.”
