Nollywood actress and entrepreneur, Georgina Onuoha has said she doesn’t believe in the philosophy of “building with a man”.
The thespian stated this in a post shared on her Instagram page on Thursday, April 28, while advising women not to completely rely on their husbands for money.
According to her, she is not against women building with their man but any woman who wants to do that should ensure she builds herself as well.
She disclosed that she has been working since she was 9 because she understood that she couldn’t depend on men for money.
Sharing a video of TV host, Stephanie Ruhle, giving financial advice to women, Georgina wrote,
“Dear Women,
Know this and have your peace.
Personally, I do not believe in the philosophy of “ building with a man,” which is why I started working at the age of 9 with my mom to date.
But if you believe in building with a man, reasonable and fair enough, just make sure you build yourself as you are building with him or her.
Do not give up your life and career for anyone or anything.
Build you, and other things will fall in place.
A self-sufficient and reliant woman or man has no fear when the unexpected happens in a relationship.
