Nollywood actor, Mofe Duncan who recently celebrated his 40th birthday revealed that he was very moved by the outpouring of love and support he received.
Taking to his Instagram page, the actor expressed his excitement about being referenced by his priest during the homily in front of the entire congregation.
Mofe Duncan was on the edge of tears after seeing the outpouring of support from friends and followers on social media and hearing his 91-year-old father’s moving speech at his birthday dinner.
The actor was incredibly appreciative of his friends and family that came to share in the celebration with him.
Mofe Duncan expressed his gratitude in a post and offered his sincere apologies to individuals whose birthday wishes he had not been able to personally acknowledge.
He stated that it was difficult for him to answer to everyone on Instagram because there were so many tags and mentions, but he reassured them that their requests were equally significant and that he would try to honor each one.
He wrote;
“Yesterday was overwhelming, to say the least. From my priest referencing me during his homily in front of the entire congregation, to the outpour of love in my social media from friends and fans to my 91+ yr old father making a speech at my 40th dinner, to my family & my friends who showed up for my dinner….every aspect of yesterday brought me on the verge of tears and TRULY I want to say THANK YOU!
I have not been able to get through all the tags and mentions on IG. Please don’t be offended, you’re NOT less important than those acknowledged. I’d do my best to acknowledge every birthday wish out there on my behalf. (Might finish next year on my 41st birthday and then I’d do it all over again Lol.”
