According to the vendor, the customer claimed she transferred ₦25,000 for three packs of food, but on her own end, the money didn’t come through. She explained to the customer, and the customer asked her to cross-check her account.
The vendor checked and insisted the transfer didn’t get through to her account. This infuriated the customer and she thr3atened to take legal actions. The vendor tried to explain herself, but seeing that the customer was insistent on her thre@ts, she stopped replying the customer’s message.
A month later she received a legal paper at her store, wherein she was served a lawsuit of 3.5 million naira by the same customer.

She asked her followers to advise her on what to do as this was the first time she was been sued; “should I send her my own paper?”, she asked. Some advised that she gets across to the customer so they could find a way to settle the matter amicably. She reached out to the customer through a voice note and the customer blocked her number.
She then decided to call the legal contact written on the summon that was issued to her but the person picked and said that she had called a wrong number. This she added has left her at a cross road and is open to suggestions on a way forward. A netizen would advise that she goes to her bank and get a statement of account instead of taking stray advises from people online.
