Nollywood actress, Zainab Balogun quizzes couples who hold separate events for their baby shower and gender reveal. Hosting the events separately comes with lots of expenses.
She stated that gender reveal has become a big business and holding both events separately is spending excessively.
The actress seems curious on why a gender reveal and baby shower will be planned separately for the same baby. The guests will have to go home after the gender reveal and then attend the baby shower later.
She said,
“Gender reveal and baby shower are two separate events with two guests, two separate expenses, same baby…isn’t it excessive”
Responding to comments, she agreed that the event should be done together once. She also added that some expecting couples might hold the event months apart.
Zainab opinion has ignited lots of speculation online, with some criticizing her for talking about couples wants and need while others agreed with her opinion of holding the events together.
