Ghanaian Man Patrick Amenuvor embarked on a challenge to break the Guinness World Record for the longest duration of standing by an individual.

His ambitious “Stand-a-thon” aimed to see him remain on his feet without sitting for an impressive 7-day period, from January 14 to January 21, 2024.

However, just a few hours into it, he made the decision to call off his Guinness World Record (GWR) attempt.

He spoke on certain concerns that he might have violated some of the rules set forth by the Guinness World Record (GWR).

hence, his reason for discontinuing the challenge, expressing his disappointment, he acknowledged the need to review his attempt in detail with his team to ensure that any errors could be addressed and solved.

He added:

“At this point, I deem it fit to get back with my team to review our attempt so far and make sure to avoid any errors that may hinder my future attempt.”

He remains determined to make a future attempt and fulfill his dream of securing a Guinness World Record.

In his message, he extended heartfelt gratitude to his supporters and fellow Ghanaians who rallied behind him during this endeavor.
