Sensational Nigerian singer, Simisola Kosoko, better known by her stage name Simi, has threatened to delete her mother’s Twitter account.
The genesis of the drama was when the singer’s mother, Mrs Jedidah Akinsola, joined a conversation on the microblogging platform and revealed what she did when she lodged in Eko Hotel.
Her revelation was in response to a Twitter user who said half of the towels in his house are from the hotels he lodged in the past. According to him, if he pays 50k or less for an hotel accomodation, he takes the towel home, and if he pays above N50k, he will carry the water heater.
The humorous tweet sparked reactions on the platform, with people revealing what they have taken from hotels.
Simi’s mother also reacted and expressed regret in not maximally utilizing her numerous visits to hotels. She said she only takes home the free lotion and cream in the bathroom.
She further added that if she knew better she would have taken valuable items like the towels, bedsheets, electric kettle.
Shortly after Mrs Jedidah made this revelation, Simi quoted the tweet and threatened to stop her from using Twitter.
