Bashir, the son of Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, has criticized Nigerian rapper and activist Falz for seeking medical treatment abroad.

It was earlier reported that the “Bop Daddy” star recently underwent knee surgery in the UK after sustaining an injury while playing football in November 2022.

Reacting via his Twitter handle on Thursday, Bashir taunted Falz, whom he described as a “bona fide human rights activist,” for traveling to the UK for the surgery instead of having the surgery in a Nigerian hospital.

Quoting a tweet about Falz’s recent surgery, Bashir wrote, “UK? He didn’t go to LASUTH as a bona-fide human rights activist?”
