A man jokingly calls out his friend for taking them on a long trip to his wife’s hometown after claiming they met in Lekki, Lagos.
In the viral video, the man teased the groom for making them believe his love story began in Lekki, only for them to travel all the way to a village in Ibadan to meet his bride’s family for the traditional marriage rites.
While recording the moment, the groom couldn’t reveal his face as he hid behind one of the groomsmen. Since he met his wife in an urban area, his friend anticipated that the celebration would hold in the city, not a rural area in another state.
The man could be heard in the background echoing the complaint, emphasizing the exhausting trip they endured before finally arriving at the village.
