Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, well known as Phyna, has revealed her reason for no longer attending the Catholic church.
She indicated that she had chosen to quit attending church because she could not comprehend or accept some of the Pope’s changes to her beliefs.
Phyna revealed that she was raised as a devout Catholic and that she did not agree with the new customs that several popes had instituted throughout the years.
In the most recent episode of her podcast, Spill With Phyna, the reality TV star talked candidly and expressed her disapproval of Pope Francis’ recent decision to allow Catholic priests to “bless” same-sex unions.
She said; 
“I stopped going to church. Initially, I was Catholic; that was my Church growing up, but things come dey go on.
Pope don actually pass different kinds of things then wey no really sit right with me but this recent one of man and man fit come marry for not just any Church but Catholic Church, I just tell myself say no need”
