Lolo Cynthia

TV host, Cynthia Lolo has sparked a debate on ladies taking their husband’s name after marriage, especially those of less successful spouses.

“I will not take the surname of my partner except I’m guaranteed that using his name opens doors that my name wont.”, she tweeted.

The statement was not however taken lightly by some of her followers who believed it sounded arrogant

Yes, one could interpret this as you saying guys should work harder to be an advantage to their future partner. But on the flipside, if every female takes queue on this mentality of taking only ‘advantage surnames’, those who are down would remain down. Anyone can lift anyone pls

But what happens if the man works hard and build his own name and brand and it becomes very influential, will the woman then change her names and the name of the kids. Genuine question please, not hating.
