There something about politics, elections in particular, that brings out the worst in men of God. No kidding.

With Nigerians still stung by the hilarity of TB Joshua’s blooper in the recently concluded US Presidential election, a Ghanaian cleric has joined the fray, making even more daring claims in the forthcoming Ghanaian Presidential election, Ghana web writes.

Recall that Prophet TB Joshua had predicted last Sunday a “narrow” win for Hilary Clinton in the just concluded U.S. presidential election. Only, she was comprehensively beaten by Donald Trump of the Republican Party in a stunning poll Wednesday.

Nigerians, cool as you like, empathized with him on social media

With the Ghana presidential race around the corner, Founder of Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu-Bempah, has said he is ready to lose his church building if Nana Addo does not win the upcoming elections as he has prophesized.

In reference to a previous prophesy that bombed, he said this time around there is no condition to his vision.

“You can call me a fake prophet or burn down my church building if the New Patriotic Party [NPP] does not win the upcoming polls,” he said on a morning show on Okay FM.

He went further to posit that Angels would come down from heaven to vote for Akufo-Addo even if Ghanaians refuse to vote for him.

“I say this year is for no other Presidential candidate other than Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party [NPP], no matter what happens.

“Mine is to act as the prophecy of God come to me.”

“I am saying with no single doubt again that Nana Addo would be the President of Ghana come December 7th. It is already written in heaven and so it shall be on earth.” Rev. Owusu Bempah said.

While TB Joshua was smart enough to pull down the Facebook post that contained the false prophesy, it will be interesting to hear Rev Bempah if the election doesn’t play out as ‘God’ scripted.

The situation is no different with Pastor Chris Okotie of Household of God Church, Lagos, who severally contested, and lost, despite ‘visions from God’ that he’d win.
