A Nigerian lady identified as Gold Syril has taken to social media to query if it was okay for a man to send his wife away due to childlessness.
According to Gold, her neighbor sent his wife packing because she hasn’t given him a child and it hurt her to watch the woman pack her things away.
She wrote;
“My neighbor sent his wife parking just now because She has not given him a child, I’m pained watching her park right now. Abeg is it really proper to chase your wife away bcos of a child? Please I need answer. God please bless every TTC.”
Reacting to the post, one Blessing Edere Iruoghene stated that not having a womb is sufficient justification to divorce a woman.
“What if the woman didn’t have a womb? More reason I must do a fertility test with my partner before marriage,” he wrote.
