A lady has shared a story of how she broke up with her boyfriend because he suspected the fact that she never asked him for money.
The lady had overheard her boyfriend tell his friends that he wasn’t sure if both of them will end up together.
His reasons being that, in their six month of dating, she had never asked him for anything.
He believed that, if she is not asking him, she is definitely getting it from another man.
She has made it clear that the only person she asks money from is her older brother,
“If he unable to come through for me,
I always work to get the money”
This doesn’t placate the boyfriend as he still stood on his theory.
Since he wouldn’t see her reasons, she decided they should both go their separate ways. “Let us not waste each others time”, She added.

@elijahnnaoma1 You did the right thing. If he still chose suspicion over understanding after multiple conversations, that’s not something you can fix. Trust is basic and you shouldn’t have to prove your independence like it’s a crime. You chose peace over stress. Respect.
