Lady shares a story of what happened after she walked into another establishment following a rejection at a different organization.

She had went in for a job. The man glanced at her CV, shook his head and told her that they were looking for someone a bit more experienced.

She smiled, said “thank you”, and walked out unbothered. But when she stepped outside, she froze. Not @ngry, not cry!ng just a hollow feeling.  She thought of going home, but she didn’t want to end her day sad so she walked into the next building.

At first the receptionist was shocked when the lady asked if they were hiring, but then later called a staff to attend to her. Fifteen minutes later, she was standing in front the manager. They sent her a job offer three days later.

“The same day I got rejected…

Was the same day something else quietly opened?

That’s when I learned:

Rejection doesn’t mean “no.”

Sometimes it just means, “not here.”

So if something didn’t work out today—

Don’t go home yet.

Try one more door.”

The story has stirred reactions from X-users:

@CrispyOnWeb3 Your CV or the solution you offer might look good on paper, but you not be the perfect fit they are looking for. Instead of feeling dis@ppointed, let your dis@ppointment be the drive you need to forge ahead.

@Alacritic_Super Sometimes the door that slams is just echoing so you will hear the one that’s quietly opening next door. Congrats on the offer. And on not letting 2 minutes decide your week.
