A lady could not hold her t3ars as she appreciated the stranger who refunded the money she mistakenly transferred to his account.
The said lady tried to make a transfer from her GTB to her Opay, but erroneously sent it to an unknown account. She got sc@red because the person seemed to be from the far north and she guessed communication will be a problem. But she took the courage and decided to put the call through.
A man picked and she explained her situation to him. He agreed to have received a certain amount but the lady said the money she sent was more than the amount he mentioned. He said he will cross check and she ended the call. She called back and he admitted to have received the amount she mentioned.
She begged him to send the money and he requested for her account number. The network was epileptic but she successfully sent the account number to him. She tried calling back but his line wasn’t reachable. Her dad told her that the man probably didn’t want to send the money so he blocked her number. But her gut was optimistic.
The call later went through and he promised to send the money. He called back to inform her that he had sent half of the money because he had exceeded his daily withdrawal limit. He assured her that his friend will send the other half through a POS. She got perturbed and contemplated if he wanted to take the half for himself.
He later sent the half as promised. She teared up in the video as she prayed for him for being so kind. “I didn’t know that we could find such people in Nigeria…with the high moral decadence in Nigeria”, she concluded.
