A Kenyan activist and photojournalist, Boniface Mwangi, has averred that men who wake their wives up to cook for them when they get home late are weak ass men with low self-esteem.
Boniface, in a video he shared on his Instagram page, said if a man returns home late, he shouldn’t disrupt his wife’s sleep to cook or warm his food. Instead, he should go into the kitchen and cook for himself.
According to him, any man who needs his wife to always cook or warm his food has low self-esteem and wants to prove that he is the ‘man of the house’
He emphasized that women are not servants or “microwave” so men should cook and warm their own meals.
He captioned the video,
“I shared this on my Instastories last night but many women have requested l post it on my timeline. Your wife, girlfriend, partner isn’t your servant, don’t wake them up to cook or warm you food when you get home late.”
