A Nigerian man has taken to his social media page to advise men to stay away from marriage if they are not financially ready.
According to Twitter user, @oku_yungx, a man would be digging his own grave if he decides to keep a housewife whilst he’s still struggling.
His tweet reads ;
If you are man still struggling and you want to marry a woman & keep as house wife, you just started digging your grave.
You need to understand that life is tough right now. If you are not financially fit, marriage should never cross your mind. Talk more bringing another mouth.
In a rejoinder tweet, he also advised against splurging cash just to have a big wedding. He wrote ;
Except you have money to throw around / enough in your reservoir to cater for your marriage, you have no business having a big wedding.
I wonder how people take loan to wed. What are you going to do in marriage?
Stay off any pressure that doesn’t align with your pocket.
