A lady has sparked a debate on Twitter after she stated that men find it difficult to help their fellow men when they ask for assistance.
The lady identified as @Hadhanr on Twitter, opined that the reason most men never open up on what they are going through, is because they are certain they wont get help.
According to her, a man will rather offer assistance to a lady who didn’t ask for it than help a man who asked for help.
To buttress her point, she narrated how she was on the road standing close to a man, waiting for a vehicle to transport her to her destination. However, while she got help in no time, the man was left stranded on the road.
She noted that a man driving picked her up and refused to help the man who was also waiting for a vehicle, when she asked the person who gave her a lift why he did not help the other guy, he simply replied, “He’s a man, he’d figure it out”.
“Men find it difficult to help their fellow men. I remember a day I & a guy stood on the road, not close to each other though, man was flagging vehicles to help him to the gate and none answered, then one car passed him and parked near me to offer me a lift. I asked why he didn’t stop for the other guy and he replied “He’s a man, he’d figure it”, she tweeted.
